Tourism Hamilton is happy to welcome the Music & Film Office to its Visitor Information Centre in the Lister Building (28 James St. N).
The new Office provides resources and information to Hamilton’s music and film industry members.
The City of Hamilton recently adopted a new Music Strategy aimed at nurturing a creative and eclectic music scene. Its goals include:
- Strong local music industry
- Increased audiences and music appreciation
- Greater access to music experiences
- Cultivation of music creation and talent

2015 JUNO Awards
Hamilton hosted the 44th JUNO Award in March 2015. The awards show was broadcast from FirstOntario Centre on March 15th. Hamilton also hosted a week of JUNO-related events including performances and workshops at venues across the city. The estimated economic impact for Hamilton was $11.9 million.
