1. The Strumbellas
Royal Botanical Gardens
Canadian indie stars The Strumbellas perform a very special outdoor concert on the grounds of the Arboretum at Canada's largest botanical garden, the Royal Botanical Gardens. Special guests include Dan Mangan, Donovan Woods and Dizzy. Enjoy the music, trails and lush views.
2. Air-Force Day
Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum
Take your summer to new heights at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum where you'll meet current members of the Royal Canadian Air Force. Get up-close to more than 40 vintage aircraft and don't forget to test out the Berlin Blitz VR experience while you're there!
3. Steamer Days

Museum of Steam and Technology
All aboard! Hop on a miniature train and explore the early industrial revolution at this fascinating museum, home to a 150-year-old Waterworks. Enjoy a free tour of the museum as well as free rides outside.
4. Art Crawl
James Street North
Experience Hamilton’s headline-making arts scene at our famous monthly Art Crawls. Stroll James Street North and take in the many galleries, studios, shops, and restaurants and experience a truly welcoming, grassroots cultural scene.
5. Farm Crawl

Little known fact: Hamilton is almost 80 per cent rural. Get back to the land and explore some of the city's many family run farms on this unique tour. Enjoy a complimentary "flight and bite" from Ridge Road Estate Winery and cider tasting from West Avenue Cider.
6. Because Beer: Craft Beer Festival

Cheers to beer! Sample craft beer and cider from dozens of vendors along Hamilton's beautiful waterfront at Pier 4. Enjoy food trucks and live music.
July 17 – 28
Accessible, playful, and engaging, the Hamilton Fringe Festival is an action-packed performance event that takes place over 11 days in downtown Hamilton. With more than 50 companies offering up musicals, dance, comedies, magic shows, dramas, and family entertainment in nearly 400 performances at multiple venues, there really is something for everyone!
8. Harbour Queen Party Cruise
47 Discovery Drive
The only thing better than enjoying a drink on a patio is enjoying a drink on the deck of a ship on the open water. The Hamilton Harbour Queen has various cruises planned throughout the month, from sightseeing cruises to themed evening parties.
9. Def Leppard with guests Tesla
First Ontario Centre
Def Leppard’s coming to pour some sugar on Hamilton. The iconic band who was recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, takes the stage with special guests Tesla.
10. Con Bravo Geek Festival

Cosplayers, gamers and graphic novel enthusiasts unite for ConBravo! Geek Festival. Embrace your inner geek and take part in epic NERF-gun battles, workshops and panel discussions.
