Steam museum

This special after-dark tour will take you through the fascinating 1859 Pumphouse and the rarely-seen basement of the 1913 Electric Pumphouse. Experience what life would be like for a Victorian engineer working the evening shift at the Waterworks. Please note, tour will have low lighting in areas. Flashlights and hard hats will be provided.

Housed in a 150-year-old Waterworks, this National Historic Site preserves two 70-ton steam powered water pumping engines, perhaps the oldest surviving Canadian-built engines.
