1. Binbrook Conservation Area
Help the fam burn off that pent-up energy at this fun packed conservation area.
This beautiful man-made lake offers plenty of swimming, splashing and sandy beach fun as well as wildlife spotting and walking trails.

2. Confederation Beach Park
A favourite with locals, this long stretch of Lake Ontario beachfront gives families room to stretch out. The paved Hamilton Beach Trail is perfect for strolling, bike rides or rollerblading.
After they've worked up an appetite, feed their hunger at Hutch's on the Beach. Families travel far for this iconic 1950s diner, serving up burgers, fish n' chips and huge ice cream cones!

3. More Beach Fun
Hamilton is blessed with several beaches thanks to surrounding Lake Ontario, fresh reservoirs and the Niagara Escarpment that cuts through the city.
Fifty Point Conservation Area, borders Niagara and has swimming access and a pretty marina. Christie Lake has a nice beach surrounded by forested trails and is conveniently located 15-minute drive from downtown. While Valens Conservation Area offers great beachfront swimming along with campsites.
