HPO Schubert & Tchaikovsky

Enjoy a mysterious, expressive, and tender evening of music as the orchestra performs works of Tchaikovsky, Bruch, and Dvořák. 

Schubert’s Symphony No. 8 “Unfinished” opens the concert, followed by Bruch’s Kol Nidrei and Dvořák’s Silent Woods, performed by guest cellist Rachel Mercer. The evening ends with Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir de Florence, an energetic piece filled with memorable melodies and exciting string playing.
