Come together to gather in reflection, remembrance, and learning for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. 

Honouring Survivors of residential schools, their families, and children who never returned home, it is an opportunity to learn, reflect, and take meaningful steps towards reconciliation. 

Event Schedule 

Sunrise Ceremony – 6 am 
 
Afternoon Gathering – 1 to 4 pm 

  • Indigenous opening & closing 
  • Remarks by Elder Norma Jacobs 
  • Keynote by residential school survivor Leo Nicholas 
  • Drumming and reflection with Ninjiichaag
