Come together for reflection, remembrance, and learning on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. 

Recognizing the tragic legacy of residential schools, their families, and children who never returned home, it is an opportunity to learn, reflect, and take meaningful steps in the ongoing journey of reconciliation. 

 

Event Schedule 
Sunrise Ceremony – 7 a.m. 

Morning Gathering – 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

  • Traditional Indigenous opening & closing 
  • Spirit Vision Drum and Dancers
  • Poetry - January Rogers
  • Keynote Speaker/Author - Dr. Karen Hill
