Come down to James Street Plaza to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day in Hamilton. 

Enjoy an afternoon of culture, community, and celebration with Indigenous performances, Indigenous artisan vendors, and local food trucks in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

• 1 pm: Opening Ceremonies
• 1:15 pm: Joe Martin & the Grand River Smoke Dancers: Traditional Dance showcase
• 1:50 pm: Nikki Shawana & Dancers: Hoop Dance Showcase
• 2:25 pm: Moccasin Identifier Project Spotlight
• 2:35 pm: Nicholas Delbaere-Sawchuk: Metis Fiddle & Storytelling 
• 3:10 pm: Alexandra Anaviapik: Inuit Throat Singer, Drum Dance & Storytelling
• 3:45 pm: Closing Ceremonies
