• The PWHL (Professional Women's Hockey League) launched in 2023 with six original teams and has recently expanded to eight franchises across Canada and the U.S. 
• The Takeover Tour brings PWHL games outside of home team arenas and into 16 communities, drawing record-breaking crowds and sparking new levels of fan engagement. 
• The Toronto Sceptres are one of the league's original six franchises, while the Seattle Torrent is a brand new expansion team joining the league in the 2025-2026 season.
