1. Lakeland Kartway
Have a need for speed? You’ll have a blast navigating the twists and turns of these go-kart tracks. Two-seaters are available for adults and children to drive together.
2. Adventure Village
Adventure Village is a family-favourite summer destination where you can spend hours enjoying the activities the park has to offer. Think batting cages, mini golf, bungee trampoline, and rock climbing!
3. Hutch’s on the Beach
Worked up an appetite yet? This iconic Hamilton beach-side diner has been serving up its famous fish n’ chips, milkshakes, burgers, and hotdogs since 1946. Kids will love the classic booths, jukebox tunes, and of course – ice cream flavours at Hutch’s on the Beach.
4. Baranga’s on the Beach
For a taste of Mediterranean food with a gorgeous view of the water, head to Barangas on the Beach. Spacious outdoor seating, nearby volleyball courts, and the Sands Lounge can be found here.
5. Lakeland Centre
Soak up the sun at Lakeland Centre’s swimming pool (or splash pad for the little ones). Don’t miss out on climbing to the top of the lighthouse for a view!
6. Green Spaces and Hiking Trails
Stroll, rollerblade, or bike along the trails of Confederation Beach Park. Pack a picnic to enjoy on the sands or use the park’s BBQs to cook up something special. There’s also a children’s playground and lots of shaded areas to get comfy with a book in hand.
7. Pickleball Courts
Hit up one of 12 City of Hamilton outdoor pickleball courts at Confederation Beach Park. Online reservation are needed but recreational games are free. Just bring your own equipment.
